This Privacy Policy explains what data CorpusClip collects, why, how long we keep it, and your rights. It includes a dedicated section on data obtained through the TikTok API.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address and authentication credentials, created when you register.
  • Content you submit: the video URLs or files you provide for processing, and the clips generated from them.
  • Connected social accounts: when you link a TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram account, we store the access and refresh tokens that let us publish on your behalf, and basic profile information returned by the platform (e.g. your username/display name).
  • Usage data: logs needed to operate and secure the service.

2. TikTok data — how we use it

When you connect your TikTok account, CorpusClip uses the TikTok API only to provide features you explicitly request:

  • user.info.basic — to display which TikTok account is connected (your open ID, username and avatar), so you can confirm you are posting to the right account.
  • video.upload — to send a clip you selected to your TikTok account as a draft in your TikTok inbox, which you then review and publish from within the TikTok app.

We request the minimum scopes needed for the features you use. We do not use TikTok data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure sub-processors listed below strictly to operate the service. TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted and are used solely to perform the actions you initiate.

You can revoke CorpusClip's access to your TikTok account at any time, either from your CorpusClip account settings ("disconnect") or from TikTok's own app under Settings → Security & permissions → Apps. Revoking access immediately stops all further use of the TikTok API and deletes the stored tokens.

3. Sub-processors

We rely on the following infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service. Data is processed only as needed to deliver features you request:

  • Groq — Transcription de la piste audio (États-Unis)

  • Stripe — Paiement (États-Unis / Irlande)
  • Mailtrap — E-mails transactionnels (Union européenne)
  • Twilio — Notification SMS de fin de rendu (États-Unis)
  • Sentry — Journalisation des erreurs (États-Unis)

4. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service:

  • Vidéo source téléchargée — 60 minutes après la fin du traitement: Supprimée automatiquement : elle n'est utile que pendant le rendu.
  • Clips produits et sous-titres — 7 jours: Télécharge-les avant, ils ne sont pas conservés indéfiniment.
  • Transcription et scores — Tant que le compte existe: Exportables à tout moment depuis « Mes données ».
  • Compte et historique — Jusqu'à suppression par le titulaire: Suppression immédiate et définitive depuis « Mes données ».

Social-account tokens (including TikTok) are deleted immediately when you disconnect the account or delete your CorpusClip account.

5. Your rights

You can access, export, or permanently delete your data at any time from your account settings ("My data"), or by contacting contact@corpusclip.com. Deleting your account erases your data and revokes all connected social accounts, including TikTok.
